A sad state of affairs but then that's how I see it. Deep down, people will always want the real thing. Why would they settle for less, within reason? It was shot in the Golden Age and I know this will mean nothing to those who think nothing but money and nothing else-not even sex. The writing never left the wall. However, those titles consist mainly of the relatively tame, shot-on-film features that were produced during the early 1980s. I was hoping that the company which acquired the VCA titles from Larry Flynt would re-release the long-lost Johnny Wadd movie, BLACK WIDOW'S NEST--a.k.a. TAPRESTRY OF PASSION. TAPRESTRY OF PASSION was originally an Essex title. The Essex titles were later acquired by VCA. It seems that another company will be releasing some of the classic VCA titles.
